- 1 cup basmati rice
- 2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Fresh coriander, for garnish

- Prepare the Soya: Soak the soya chunks in warm water for about 20 minutes. Drain and squeeze out excess water. In a bowl, mix the soya with onion, ginger-garlic paste, green chilies, cumin, coriander, turmeric, garam masala, salt, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Form Kebabs: Shape the marinated mixture into kebabs or patties. You can use skewers if preferred.
- Cook the Kebabs: Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the kebabs until golden brown on all sides. If using skewers, grill them on a barbecue or under a broiler for a smoky flavor.
- Prepare the Rice: In a pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add the basmati rice and chili powder. Stir, cover, and let it simmer on low heat until the rice is cooked and fluffy, about 15 minutes.
- Serve: Plate the spicy rice and top with the soya kebabs. Garnish with fresh coriander. Enjoy your meal!
